Tell Gucci to Stop Selling All Fur

After hearing from thousands of PETA supporters, Gucci has assured PETA that it will not sell any more seal fur, a product of the vicious Canadian seal hunt - an annual massacre in which hundreds of thousands of terrified baby seals are clubbed to death and many are skinned alive. This is a step in the right direction, but PETA now wants Gucci to stop peddling pelts from all animals. By selling real fur, Gucci is responsible for promoting fur as well as promoting the horrors of the entire fur industry, which have been documented on video.

The fur industry is violent and bloody and the simple fact is that the terror and pain experienced by a seal clubbed to death on the ice floes of Canada is akin to the suffering of a mink who is genitally or anally electrocuted on a fur farm, a desperate wolf who is trapped for days in a bone-shattering steel-jaw trap, or a cat or a dog who is skinned alive for fur on a Chinese fur farm.

Please let Gucci know that the time has come to switch to fabulous synthetics and natural fibers. Tell Gucci that no matter where the fur came from, every fur item that Gucci sells represents unimaginable suffering.
