Tell Lab to Stop Torturing Monkeys!

A whistleblower who worked for years at contract testing laboratory SNBL USA just outside Seattle has stepped forward to report hideous cruelty at the facility. One incident involved a monkey who was reportedly left in her cage as it was sent through a high-temperature sanitizing washer. Temperatures reaching 180°F and caustic chemicals killed her, leaving her body burned and stiff. Reportedly, employees also sprayed monkeys with acid and dropped monkeys on their heads.

U.S. government reports show that SNBL USA has failed to provide cages that meet minimal federal standards, veterinary care, and proper pain relief for suffering animals. Over one three-week period, 20 monkeys died from "extreme weight loss" and "emaciation" as well as other maladies.

PETA recently named SNBL CEO Ryoichi Nagata at SNBL's headquarters in Japan one of the 10 Worst CEOs for Animals in Laboratories.

Please ask Nagata to fire those responsible for violating the law and torturing monkeys at SNBL.
