It’s hard to believe that dogs’ chests were cut open in laboratories in order to advertise the health benefits of grape juice, but until recently, that was the case with one juice company. When PETA learned that Welch’s was funding experiments that killed hundreds of animals, we wrote to the company and warned that we would launch an international boycott campaign to educate the public about the company’s cruel tests. One week later, PETA received a formal scientific research policy from the company describing its commitment never to fund any tests on animals again.

This victory just goes to show how ridiculous the animal-testing industry is—torturing and killing animals for juice! Now we need your help to convince one of Welch’s competitors to follow the company’s lead.
