Burberry is traditionally known for its distinctive plaid design (though of late, the brand is more identifiable as the wardrobe of mindless thugs), but its senseless violence toward millions of animals has changed the way that people view the clothing company. Burberry's catwalks are strewn with fur. PETA has met with Burberry executives on several occasions, showing them how animals on fur farms spend their entire lives exposed to all weather conditions in cramped, filthy wire cages. Animals on fur farms suffer miserable lives and horrific deaths. Fur farmers use the cheapest and cruellest killing methods – including suffocation, electrocution, gassing, and poisoning – which aren't always effective and can leave animals conscious while they are being skinned. All this so Burberry can make a coat, hat, or bag?

Burberry knows about the suffering that goes into every fur and fur-trimmed garment, yet its executives have done nothing. With so many fashionable, comfortable alternatives available today, there is no excuse for Burberry to continue to use the skins of tortured animals in its collections.

Please use the form below to write to Angela Ahrendts, the CEO of Burberry. Ask that she follow in the footsteps of top designers like Stella McCartney and Ralph Lauren, who refuse to use fur in their designs, and ask her to remove fur from Burberry’s collections permanently!
