Guess Where Not to Shop While Animals Drop - Urge Guess? to End Fur Sales Now
After months of pressuring Guess?, Inc., to go fur-free, PETA has learned that the company may still be ordering fur until September 1 and selling as much as it can until April 2008—despite already announcing that it has gone "fur-free." We are pleased that Guess? has pledged to go fur-free, but it is inexcusable to keep buying and selling it given other companies' total bans on fur. Following pressure from PETA and our supporters, J.Crew, Wet Seal, Forever 21, and Ralph Lauren all pulled fur from their existing inventories; please join us in encouraging Guess? to do the same.
Despite the fact that the company's Guess?, Marciano, and Guess? Factory lines include many fashionable faux-fur items, Guess? insists on using real fur—mainly from rabbits—for accessories such as shrugs. As you probably know, animals on fur farms spend their entire lives confined to tiny, filthy cages, where they often go insane from confinement before they are killed by poisoning, gassing, anal or vaginal electrocution, or neck-breaking.
Please take a minute to fill out the form below to send a polite message to Guess? asking the company to stop all purchases of fur products—and pull all fur products from its stores (and consider donating them to those in need)—immediately.
