Urge Designer Michael Kors to Drop ALL Fur

Designer and Project Runway star Michael Kors recently announced plans to drop raccoon dog fur from his clothing lines, a move that ignores the simple fact that millions of other animals—including foxes, who are also members of the canine family—are beaten, strangled, genitally electrocuted, and skinned alive for fur.

Many top designers, including Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Stella McCartney, Betsey Johnson, Marc Bouwer, Rebecca Taylor, Kenneth Cole, and others, have chosen to take a compassionate stand and rid their lines of fur—or have never used fur at all—and there is no reason why Kors can't do the same.

PETA has met with representatives of the company, including Kors' head designer, and shown them a video that reveals the horrific suffering endured by animals used for fur. We are now urging Kors himself to watch this exposé narrated by Martha Stewart, who had a change of heart herself about fur, in hopes that he will better understand why simply replacing the use of one animal's fur with the use of another's is unacceptable. Please take a moment to politely ask Kors to do the truly compassionate thing and not use fur at all—in any of his collections.
