After Alicia Silverstone's public service announcement was banned from the airwaves in Houston, Texas, one PETA supporter decided to speak up.
The lone Lettuce Lady wanted to draw attention to the fact that the state where Alicia's ad was banned just happens to be dominating the list of fattest American cities. In fact, four of the top 10 are in Texas!
Luckily for the Lone Star State, the sexy Lettuce Lady created an easy plan to help Texans lose weight—by going vegetarian!
She knows that eating meat not only causes obesity, it also slows the flow of blood to all the vital organs, so a vegetarian diet can help Texas men from getting big in, well, all the wrong places.
In a video message to Texas Gov. Rick Perry, the sexy PETA supporter lays out her plan to help Texas shape up by going vegetarian. Oh, and did we mention that she's wearing only a cowboy hat and a lettuce bikini? Her wardrobe, or lack of, will certainly have the governor standing to attention.
If Gov. Perry rises to the occasion and accepts the challenge, he will be in good company: In 2001, when Philadelphia was named the fattest city in the country, Mayor John Street used his healthy vegetarian diet as an example to encourage Philadelphians to lose weight—and Mayor Street did all that without a sexy Lettuce Lady whispering in his ear.
Help this Lettuce Lady, and all of Texas, by signing the petition telling Gov. Perry to encourage his state to try a vegetarian diet. If Texas listens to the Lettuce Lady's words of wisdom and adopts a healthier lifestyle now, the state could become a haven for sexy vegetarians instead of chubby carnivores—and that's a good thing for all Americans. So help the Lettuce Lady and say, "Go Veg, Texas!"
