Tell Edward Jones to Celebrate Without Cruelty

After PETA learned that investment firm Edward Jones hired Ringling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey Circus for a private performance to celebrate the opening of its 10,000th branch, we immediately contacted the company to urge executives to cancel the show. Edward Jones Managing Partner James Weddle ignored our request and refused to return our calls to discuss the issue.

This might be the first time that Ringling has performed at a private event, and it must be the last! Ringling Bros. has a lengthy history of animal abuse and neglect. The circus beats elephants with sharp metal bullhooks and keeps these highly intelligent, social animals in shackles for most of their lives.

Please urge Edward Jones to end its association with Ringling Bros and never hire any circuses with animal acts.
