Vivienne Tam knows about the suffering that goes into every fur-trimmed garment, but she continues to contribute to the senseless cruelty to millions of animals in the fur industry. PETA has written to Vivienne and told her how animals on fur farms suffer. Animals on fur farms spend their entire lives exposed to all weather conditions in cramped, filthy wire cages. They suffer miserable lives and horrific deaths. Fur farmers use the cheapest and cruelest killing methods—including suffocation, electrocution, gassing, and poisoning. These methods aren't always effective, and sometimes animals are still conscious when they are skinned. Animals suffer through all this so that Vivienne can make a coat, a hat, or a bag.

Please join us in urging Vivienne to follow the lead of other top designers and retailers—including Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo Ralph Lauren, Ann Taylor, and others—who have already adopted permanent fur-free policies.
