Urgent: Starving, Skeletal Horses in Sebah, Malaysia, Need Your Voice

PETA was recently made aware of an extremely urgent situation involving a horse ranch in Sebah, Malaysia. The situation was discovered by unwitting tourists who reportedly signed up for horseback riding along the beach at the Melensung Ranch, only to encounter horses who were so starved, emaciated, and weak that some of them could barely stand upright.

Graphic photos and additional information can be found on the SPCA Selangor's Web site. PETA is being told that in recent weeks, the owners have made only meager improvements for these animals. An update on the situation can be found here.

These suffering horses still need your voice. Please politely urge the following authorities to confiscate these suffering animals and prosecute the owner using the animal protection Law in Malaysia—the Animals Act 1953.
